Our company offers Financial Advice to individuals and companies on all aspects of financial planning, through a long term approach of fully understanding our clients' needs, wants and aspirations and then providing the right solutions.

We are aware that we will only continue to be successful if we give good service.  Our strength lies in our relationships with our clients and that's all about people. Our new business comes from referrals from existing client's friends and families and we never need to advertise. It's all down to our team of dedicated, friendly Financial Adviser's and their efficient Para planners who provide excellent customer service.

Cheesman and Groves was formed in May 1995 when Jeff Groves joined David Cheesman's already established business, David Cheesman and Partner, which has been trading since 1975. David Cheesman retired from the partnership in March 2002.  Paul Letley became Director, and continues to work with Jeff Groves to grow the business. Cheesman and Groves was changed to a limited company with effect from 1st June 2004 and traded as Cheesman and Groves Ltd until 31st January 2021 when we started trading as Absolute Financial Manaagement Ltd

How we work

When we first meet, we will usually commence by discussing your needs and objectives in general before going on to conduct a thorough financial review. We will also outline to you our fees for our services. Following our review, we will take time to consider your situation and needs in detail, our conclusions will then be presented to you at a subsequent meeting. We will discuss our research and recommendations with you showing you our fees and/or commission.  Then, with your agreement, will proceed with the appropriate business. You will receive a full report detailing any reccomendations that you proceed with.

We have put in place an investment proposition which involves active monitoring, regular fund selection and automatic rebalancing carried out by some outstanding organisations; the use of which we believe will deliver real benefits for our clients.  You can find a link to our Investment Propostion on our home page.
