Meet the Team

Jeff Groves - Director

Jeff joined the industry in 1974 with the Prudential. After several years service, he left the Pru in 1990 and started as an IFA linked to an accountants practice in Hadleigh, Essex. In 1994 he joined together with David Cheesman to form Cheesman & Groves. In 2004 the company became Limited and he become a Director of Cheesman & Groves Ltd. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society, CII Chartered Insurance Institute and Society of Financial Advisers.

Jeff is married with three children and three grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf and most sports. He is a keen West Ham supporter and attends most home games.

Paul Letley - Director

Paul has worked in the insurance industry since 1986 and as a Financial Adviser since 1993. He joined Cheesman and Groves in 2001, following a successful career with the Prudential. Paul is a member of the CII Chartered Insurance Institute. He became a Director of Cheesman & Groves Ltd in 2007.

Paul has three daughters.  He enjoys rugby music and cycling.

Terry Saines

Terry returned to Cheesman & Groves Ltd in January 2011 advising on a range of products including mortgages.  He re-joined us from another Firm, having previously worked with us some years ago. Terry also worked for the Prudential for many years before being made redundant. 

Terry has been married to Jane for over thirty years and has two grown up girls, Caroline and Rebecca.

Terry is a keen golfer and supports  Arsenal.  Terry's 15 minutes of fame came when he was about 12 years old and appeared in a Dudley Moore film.

Brad Tillett

Brad joined Cheesman and Groves in December 2013 after working as an IFA in his own business since leaving the Coop financial Services in 2008. Brad's main role is a para-planner but he is also a qualified Financial Adviser.

Brad is married with three children and one grandchild.He is also an Arsenal supporter who enjoys most sports.

Brad is experienced enough to know that he is normally the first point of contact for our clients and must give good service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ann Rawlings

Ann had worked for Standard life for 20 years before being made redundant. She then went to university for 4 years obtaining a BSC (hons). Ann Joined Cheesman & Groves in October 2015 and her role is a para-planners assistant.

Ann is divorced and enjoys yoga, cycling and holidays. She is also enjoying dealing with clients rather than industrywide advisers and is also aware of her responsibilities to give good service to our clients.

Dawn Stevenson

Dawn previously worked in the police force for over 20 years. Her work involved intence record keeping for prosecutions and other important police work. Her work at Cheesman and Groves since joining in April 2013 is keeping our clients informed of their portfolios and regular meetings. Dawn also forwards a weekly update of the financial commentry to clients.

Dawn is married and enjoys keeping fit, music and movies. She also understands the need to give good service to our clients.
